As mentioned in my previous post, I spent last week in the Cairngorms, Scottish Highlands. It's the first time I've visited and I'll definitely return. I was with my folks and girlfriend and we did loads so photography was mostly limited to grabbing shots as I saw them during the course of our daily excursions. I would have liked to have got out to do some landscape photography but sometime I'll plan a return trip dedicated to photography!
Anyway, there was loads of interesting stuff to shoot and I think I bought back a few decent shots. They'll inevitably make it up here over the next week or so.
Not much to say about this one other than, as usual, the original is under the film strip at the bottom right of the main image.

A very effective study in texture that works very well with it's monochrome finish.

the tonal range here is superb, I could see this as a cyanotype or a Bromoil print.
