The seventh image in my LRPS panel (more about this).
It is from a series of studies I did of the rock formations on the Welsh coast at Aberaeron. It is one of my favorite shots in the panel - I just love the texture and colour.
I leave for Newcastle at lunch time today and still haven't had time to mount the prints for the assessment. Gulp! I realised yesterday that I'd had some of the shots printed too small. Since I didn't have time to order from the same printer again, I had to use another which was more expensive, especially since I had to print the whole panel again to ensure the paper was the same! As it turns out, their prints are clearly of a better standard which can only be a good thing for the assessment.

The way the shadows fall here really makes an intersting pattern.

very nice composition and texture. Can imagine this being presented well in B&W too...
