Another classical architecture detail from Rome.
This one is of the base of a stone plinth supporting a cast metal statue, I assume bronze. The green colouring is caused by the oxidized metal carried down the plinth by water.

I like the abstraction of the subject by focusing on a small detail. The oxidized color is pretty cool.
